Here finally some photos of the paintings I finished this month.As part of a big redevelopment I was aked to create the murals and ceiling painting for SAKS Urban Design Hotels in Kaiserslautern.The brief was very open and I had to come up with ideas and concepts around food and what a joy ! …..the food is delicious!!I used acrylic paint for the painting and gold leaf in order to accentuate some  parts of the designs.Here’s the link to an interview about the project  http://www.varoom-mag.com/?p=1

Das ist der grosse Hunger .Part of the ceiling painting of the second part of the restaurant, which comprises a fresh pasta station and the best Pizza oven in town.

I put in there some lines from Peter Handke’s beautiful “song of childhood

Another detail of the ceiling.This is the pike from the Kaiserwoog, which tells the saga of the founding of Kaiserslautern, …you see, I wrote the story on its belly.

part of the coffee and breakfast lounge I finished last week.This shall represent the first sleepy cup of coffee you have in the morning.Yeah.
